Beautiful photo made by Carl Beel in Brownsberg nature park in Suriname in December 2008. To photograph these little birds is quite difficult, they stay low in the dark undergrowth of the rainforest or savanna bush. They have a clear voice so they are more often seen than heard. This is a recording of the white-breasted woodwren, made by Ribot at the Brownsberg in 2006.
Each small square indicates the observation of at least one (group) of these birds, the medium ones at least 4 observations on different days and the largest ones 10 or more. The color of each square indicates: blue for coastal area, yellow for savanna and red for rainforest.
